Geraldine was born December 18, 1925 in Richwood, WV, a daughter of the late Clem and Esther (Gibson) Donelson. She graduated from The Rayen High School and had worked for 33 years as an inspector for Packard Electric, retiring in 1991. She was a member of the Austintown Eagles and the Ladies' Auxilliary of the VFW. Geraldine leaves her daughter, Sharley Porter of Deltona, FL; a son, John "Jack" Porter of Canfield; a grandson, Eric Porter; and a great grandson, Eric.
